For my UX Immersion Certification with CareerFoundry, I spent up to 400+ hours learning from the lessons provided, working with a Tutor and then a Mentor to hone what I was learning in the program to build an app with The Design Thinking Process. We were assigned a “tattoo app” & out of this project, “Pinked” was born.

After taking the certification from CareerFoundry, I applied those skills directly to my current job, performing an audit of the current website. Gaps immediately were identified and worked with development team and Director of Marketing to find quick solutions to enhance the customer’s purchasing journey.

Before I even knew about the actual field of “User Experience,” I intuitively was using those skill sets when I was asked to redesign my first large website, Biblos Foundation. The owner required a new membership platform to share Bible education content and also a robust Online Course purchasing and sharing platform (before course platforms came onto the market).
